Pick Your
Night:
Go to the My Film Cafe Calendar
and pick a date and time for your screening. Just click on "Add
New Entry" at the bottom of the page. After approval, it will
be listed on the calendar. Make sure you have enough time to get the
word out. Put info about the film, you, the actors, etc. that will
entice anyone reading it to come see it. Let them know if you will
be attending - it's a big plus. NOTE: You
can pick a day/night when we have a weekly event planned (Saturday
Night Feature, Open Film Night, etc.) and we will do everything possible
to put you in that slot.
Market
Your Film:
My Film Cafe seats approximately 25 people comfortably,
but nothing is better than Standing Room Only. Get the word out. We
will announce it through MySpace. If we have to we will have multiple
screenings.
Charge
Admission (if you want):
We do not charge admission, but if you want to - go
right ahead.
Sell DVDs:
We did this in 2005 in Galloway, NJ and the filmmaker
sold 70 DVDs, which he signed, for $10 a piece. He also charged $5
at the door. There was over 125 people there - you do the math.
